2 RHS football players stand out in combine

White Sulpher Springs, WV – Two Richwood High School football standouts displayed their skills at the Appalachia Prep Combine at The Greenbrier yesterday evening, April 27, 2019.

With a large number of college coaches in attendance, junior wide receiver Michael McGee and sophomore quarterback Caleb Jantuah stood out among nearly 300 other athletes.

The 6’3, 190-pound wide receiver McGee posted a 4.9-second 40-yard dash, a 4.25-second 5-10-5 pro shuttle, and a 7’11” broad jump. In addition to that, he recorded eight reps on the 185-pound bench press test and he stood out amongst other wide receivers during the 1 v. 1 drill.

The 6′ tall, 180-pound quarterback Caleb Jantuah posted a 4.6-second 40-yard dash, a 2.26-second 5-10-5 pro shuttle, and an 8’9″ broad jump. He also bench pressed 185-pounds for three reps total. During the 1 v. 1 drill, Jantuah threw the football well and led the majority of his receivers to catch the ball in stride.

These two players will be a good duo to keep an eye on this fall.
