RHS Succeeds Again

Craigsville, WV – A significant accomplishment, led by two Richwood High School teachers, Mrs. Carrie Mullens and Mrs. Kayla Thomas, was achieved by the senior class at Richwood High School on May 9, 2019.

During Richwood High’s “College Decide Day” event, Carrie Mullens announced that Richwood High School was the only school out of two high schools in Nicholas County, West Virginia to meet the Higher Education Policy Commission’s FASFA completion rate.

The West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission recommends each high school to get at least 63 percent of its senior students to complete the FAFSA.

Out of only 82 students in the Richwood High School senior class, Mrs. Mullens and Mrs. Thomas were able to get 56 students to complete their FAFSA.
