Richwood City Pool opens with a great start

The Richwood City Pool opened their doors for the 2019 summer yesterday, June 4, 2019.

Richwood, WV – Yesterday afternoon was the perfect day to open the City Pool. The weather was great, the kids and their families had a fun day out in the sun, and the Richwood City Pool stocked a ton of needed supplies for the rest of the summer.

Instead of charging a $3 admission, the City Pool required all people wanting to swim to bring some cleaning supplies. Although they could have made a decent amount of money from admission costs yesterday, they were able to stock enough supplies to last them a reasonable length of time.

In total, 109 people showed up to the Richwood City Pool throughout yesterday afternoon — it was a great day for all of the kids, families, and Richwood City Pool staff.

The City Pool will stay open all through this summer, up until the end of August.
